Mcgrath Foundation
Jane McGrath co-founded the McGrath Foundation with her cricketing husband, Glenn, after her initial recovery from breast cancer. Jane experienced first hand the shortage of breast care nurses in Australia during her treatment and became determined to help others in her situation.
The McGrath Foundation is committed to continuing Jane’s legacy by not only ensuring young women are encouraged to be breast aware but by also continuing to raise the valuable funds to support the placement of McGrath Breast Care Nurses throughout rural and regional Australia to help women diagnosed with breast cancer. It was Jane’s vision that all women seeking treatment for breast cancer should have access to a Breast Care Nurse.
