Nathan Fives - Half Marathon
Creator   Nathan Fives
Close at  Friday, 27 November 2009
I am dusting off the joggers, pulling on the legwarmers and pounding the pavement in the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival. At the same time I am aiming to raise money for charity and I would welcome any contribution, great or small, that you could make. The charity I've chosen to support is Greenpeace who are fighting the good fight to ensure that the next generation will still be able to run across the bridge rather than have to go diving to see it. Donations, however large, will be most welcome & will be a great way to stop me spamming you every other day.

If it helps prise the purse open, I've got to be there at 6:20 in the morning, which is precisely why I didn't run it last year. My suffering is always something worth shelling out for. Any support & encouragement would be most appreciated as would the number of a good physio.

Thanking you in advance.

Nathan
    Greenpeace*

Greenpeace is an independent campaigning organisation that uses non-violent direct action to expose global environmental problems and force solutions which are essential to a green and peaceful future.

We do not accept funding from governments or corporations and therefore cannot accept ‘matched gifts’ from your employer.  To maintain our independence we rely on the goodwill and generosity of members of the public to continue our work.  This ensures we're in the best position to take action and confront people and organisations that are destroying our environment.

With your support, we will work to prevent catastrophic climate change and incite an energy revolution; to protect and preserve our oceans and ancient forests; to keep genetically engineered ingredients out of our food and to create a peaceful and nuclear-free future.
