Half Marathon                   $80*                              600
Marathon                          $135*                             900
*Rebate amount is the early bird rate or the amount paid, which ever is lower & can only be rebated to the payer of the entry fee.

6.To be an eligible BSRF09 charity the charity must sign the appropriate paperwork with GoFundraise and be featured on the event page www.gofundraise.com.au/bsrf2009.aspx

7.Participants who fundraise on the GoFundraise site but do not have their page associated with the event page and an eligible charity are not eligible for a rebate even if they reach their target.

I am dusting off the joggers and pounding the pavement in the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival. At the same time I am aiming to raise money for charity and I would welcome any contribution, great or small, that you could make!
    Cure Cancer Australia Foundation*
CURE CANCER AUSTRALIA FOUNDATION has directed over $11 million of vital seed funding to national cancer research. In 2010, Cure Cancer Australia will provide 16 one year grants of $90,000 each to young post-doctoral researchers with fresh approaches across all areas of cancer research including:  lung, pancreatic, gastrointestinal, colorectal and breast cancers, melanoma, tumour growth and suppression, cancer genetics, antibody-based cancer therapy and more effective prevention for skin cancers.Cure Cancer Australia funded researchers are now amongst the top cancer researchers in Australia.

Without these funds many Australian scientists would have left the research field or not have had the chance to apply for further funding. Breakthroughs are being made everyday that help with early diagnosis and better treatments. As part of its Fundraising Arm, Cure Cancer Australia also has the incredibly successful Can Too program (www.cantoo.org.au) and Team Brett , the fundraising arm of The Brett Levien Sarcoma Cancer Foundation(www.teambrett.org.au) raising funds for cancer research.

Without research there can be no cure for this devastating disease. Thank you for your support!
