Fundraise, donate & share to show your support
The GI Cancer Institute is part of the Australasian Gastro-Intestinal Trial’s Group (AGITG), Australia’s largest independent non-profit organisation that conducts clinical trials into GI cancers. Our trials aim to save, extend and provide a better quality of life for people with GI cancers.
- GI cancers are the biggest killer of all cancers.
Over 24,000 Australians are diagnosed with GI cancers each year, and every day 33 Australians die of GI cancers-that's one every 45 minutes
- GI cancers are cancers that affect the digestive system.
This includes cancers of the stomach, oesophagus, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, stomach and bowel.
Together, we can help improve the chances of those with GI cancers.
