Indigenous Reading Project is an award-winning, non-profit organisation established in 2012. We work to improve the reading ability of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children through our e-reading program. We target kids who are behind their peers and want to improve their reading skills. We loan them a tablet and give them access to our cloud library of how many books here. We monitor their progress over time, and if they significantly improve their reading ability, they get to keep the tablet. Successful students will have access to our cloud e-book library as well as incentives and rewards for continued effort and achievement with their reading. Corporate donors cover our operating costs so 100% of your money goes directly to kids. Find out more about our work including our approach the great results that we achieve with Indigenous kids all over Australia.
