DOIN IT FOR THE CRITTERS ((((-:

Wahoo! Rocket legs finished the Bridge run in 1:02:03! Such a terrific experience (-:

On behalf of our animal friends at Sydney Pet Rescue & Adoption, I have taken this opportunity to raise much needed funds: www.sydneypetrescue.com.au.

Sydney Pet Rescue are a not-for-profit Charity, run totally by volunteers and have no paid staff. They receive no government funding and rely on donations with the shortfall coming out of volunteers pockets. 100% of donations goes to helping the pets.

Main costs are vet bills, (sometimes rather large), de-sexing, micro-chipping, Pound release fees, food, litter, bedding, holding pens for mums with kittens, pet transport carriers, petrol costs for transport and lots more.

As an example: $115 covers the rescue and vet costs for one pet from Death Row.

Thank you Alan & Leilani for your very generous donation of $100! Also, thank you Bill (my neighbour) for thinking of the critters with your $10 cash - every little bit helps & much appreciated.

YOU CAN STILL MAKE A DONATION (-: The close off date is 12th December. It would mean such a lot to so many precious lives.

Much thanks everyone (-:
Cheers
Jamii

Donations are critical to our capacity to achieve our goal of saving as many pets as possible from Death Row, and finding them new loving, forever homes.

We are a registered charity, a non profit organisation and a Member Society of WSPA.

Sydney Pet Rescue & Adoption also operate an Assisted Re-homing Program, offering people help to find a new loving home, as an option to surrendering to a pound or animal shelter where they would normally be at high risk of euthanasia.

Sydney Pet Rescue & Adoption is committed to the promotion of responsible pet ownership, and the prevention of cruelty to animals.
