Cambodia Crusade - Team Underdogs
Story
UNDERDOGS has joined the Amazing People Project a campaign encouraging 250 people, to raise $250,000 over 250 days by doing something ‘amazing’ for themselves whilst doing something ‘amazing’ for others. You can find out more by watching this video.
To achieve my $5000, I need your help. Team UNDERDOGS will be going to Cambodia for 4 days to help build houses for families in disadvantaged and underprivelaged communities.
Team Underdogs will be giving up their own time and money to go on this quest with all monies raised going to support chairities in Australia.
Our 5 chosen charities are the Starlight Children's Foundation, The Inspire Foundation, youngcare, Cure Cancer Australia and Careflight.
By raising $50,000 for each of these charities we will be making an amazing difference to many people in our community.

The Amazing People Project 2011 Charity Community
There are so many amazing charities in Australia, working to do great things across all areas of our community. Choosing the right charities for The Amazing People Project was in itself quite a challenge! Everyone has a cause dear to their heart and so we tried to choose charities that would cover different categories in our community. We created the criteria that the charity needed to be Australian, able to specify what the money would go towards, be registered for tax deductions so we could receipt our sponsors, and not be primarily government funded. We wanted charities that were doing amazing things for kids, youth, care, cure/research and general community. After several months of research, talking to different charities, these are the 5 ‘amazing’ charities we chose for the 2011 Amazing People Project.
