Why am I running the half marathon in Sydney? I'm an adrenaline junkie and it gives me kicks. Plus I'll get to run over the Harbour Bridge. Woo! But I thought I'd raise some cash for a GREAT cause whilst doing so. Everybody needs a heart, so PLEASE, put some money up for those who need a better one.
    Heart Foundation

The Heart Foundation is Australia’s leading heart health charity working to fight cardiovascular disease (heart, stroke & blood vessel disease), which claims one Australian life nearly every ten minutes. The funds you raise will help the Heart Foundation fund critical research, education and community programs to help save lives and improve the health of all Australians.

How your fundraising helps:

  •  A donation of $100 will enable 20 people to speak to the Heart Foundation's professional heart health information service staff and receive heart health materials.
  •  A donation of $200 will enable the distribution of our latest heart disease management guide to over 100 health professionals, to provide the best possible care for heart patients.
  •  A donation of $500 will help us fund a world-class research project for two days.
