Hi there, I am dusting off the joggers and pounding the pavement in the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival. At the same time I am aiming to raise money for charity and I would welcome any contribution, great or small, that you could make!

As Australia's oldest diabetes charity, we have been working hard for over 70 years to provide vital support to the largest diabetes member based in the country.

We know there are challenges ahead. In Australia, 1 person every 5.5 minutes is diagnosed with diabetes making it the fastest growing chronic disease in the country.

Australian Diabetes Council is poised to make a positive impact on this epidemic by acting as an empowerment group for this widely misunderstood disease.

Our brand reflects both our leadership and our ongoing commitment to provide practical and emotional support to all Australians living with, or at risk, of diabetes- including their family and friends.

We provide a wide range or education and advocacy products and services to help meet the diverse needs of the diabetes community.

Australian Diabetes Council will continue to play a pivotal role in the management and prevention of diabetes - both at home and in the workplace - by challenging, listening, educating, advocating and funding research. Whenever and wherever it is needed.
