In preparation for my attempt to qualify for the Hawaii Ironman in 2009 (3.8km swim, 180km bike, 42km run) I am entering in allot of marathon events including Blackmores Sydney Running Festival (42km through Sydney). During my journey to acheive my goal, I am aiming to raise money for charity and I would welcome any contribution you could make, great or small, towards my choice of charity, The Heart Foundation.

The Heart Foundation is Australia’s leading heart health charity working to fight cardiovascular disease (heart, stroke & blood vessel disease), which claims one Australian life nearly every ten minutes. The funds you raise will help the Heart Foundation fund critical research, education and community programs to help save lives and improve the health of all Australians.

How your fundraising helps:

  •  A donation of $100 will enable 20 people to speak to the Heart Foundation's professional heart health information service staff and receive heart health materials.
  •  A donation of $200 will enable the distribution of our latest heart disease management guide to over 100 health professionals, to provide the best possible care for heart patients.
  •  A donation of $500 will help us fund a world-class research project for two days.
