Miss Teen Ausralia is taking part in the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival 2010 and hoping to raise much needed funds for the charity Barnardos Children Australia to help children who are suffering from, or at risk of neglect, abuse, homelessness or poverty.
I met some of the Barnardos children when I was competing in the Miss Teen Australia National final last year and one partciular 14 year old girl touched my heart after she told me her life story and it made me really think about what an amazing organisation Barnardos Australia is and how they do make a difference in so many childrens lives. They do need our help to raise funds so they can help the many children that need helping.
