Run for Barnardos

Close at  Saturday, 20 March 2010

Do you believe in children? Former Socceroo Craig Foster does, that's why he's leading the Run For Barnardos team in the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival on Sunday 20th September 2009.

Your donation will go towards supporting the health and wellbeing needs of Australia's severely abused and neglected children.

Children like 18-month-old Molly whose mother died of a drug overdose last year. This little girl had endured a lonely and squalid existence, with no basic care or attention paid to her health. She was malnourished and had a severe ear infection, one that would leave her with permanent partial hearing loss. Barnardos' placed her in the care of one of our emergency foster carers, and now that we have found her grandparents we are supporting them in giving Molly the love and care she needs to enjoy the childhood she deserves.

With your support we can help more children like Molly. Click on 'Join this team' to join Craig and help us meet our fundraising goal. Don't forget to register for the event at www.sydneyrunningfestival.com.au.

Thank you.
