“relieving poverty” Global Development Group (GDG) (www.globaldevelopment.org.au) is an Australian Non Government Organisation [NGO] carrying out humanitarian projects with approved partners and providing aid to relieve poverty. Our mission is to relieve poverty in a tangible way and provide long term solutions through the provision of quality aid and development projects in approved countries. Global Development Group is approved by DFAT, and a member of the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) and a signatory to the ACFID Code of Conduct, which provides standards on management, communication with the public and, most importantly, how funds are spent. GDG has almost 350 approved aid and development projects in nearly 40 countries around the world, in conjunction with our approved partners in Australia and around the world. Donations in Australia over $2 to Global Development Group approved aid and development projects are tax deductible. Tax deductible donations can also be made in the USA to our American affliate Global Development Group USA Inc. (www.globaldevelopmentusa.org)
