Chronic Cerebrospinal Venous Insufficiency (CCSVI) is a condition where blood flow in the brain and spine is impaired due to a blockage in one or more of the major veins. CCSVI is implicated in a number of neurodegenerative conditions including Multiple Sclerosis.  Whilst treating CCSVI is not a cure for MS, treating blocked veins can bring real symptomatic improvements. There is great potential that research could unlock further understanding of Multiple Sclerosis as a whole. This is giving People with MS HOPE
